Nestled in the peaceful Swiss village of Sigriswil, SwissHut was founded in the summer of 2014 in our first chalet overlooking Lake Thun, with a simple mission: to offer guests more than just a place to stay. We wanted to create a space where travelers could unplug from the rush, reconnect with nature, and experience the authentic beauty of Switzerland.
Inspired by our love for travel and the serenity of the Alps, we opened SwissHut to share the joy of slow mornings, mountain sunsets, and cozy evenings with fondue. With over a decade behind us, we now offer more than 40 properties—and growing—thanks to owners who are proud to share their homes with guests from all over the world.
